Dave Fecak is the founder and principal of Fecak Inc. and has 20 years of experience in the tech recruiting space. During his recruiting career Dave represented a diverse mix of startup and larger tech clients in the Philadelphia and New York areas, and he's advised thousands of job seekers over the course of his career.
Dave founded Fecak Inc. in 2012 as a flat-fee engaged recruiting firm and transitioned to providing agent services and employer consulting after five years. His primary focus is now Résumé Raiders, a résumé review/writing and career coaching service.
His blog Job Tips For Geeks (mostly retired) focused on tech career and hiring topics, and Dave published his first ebook Job Tips For GEEKS: The Job Search in 2013. He has been published, cited, or quoted in The Washington Post, Lifehacker, Philadelphia Inquirer, Fast Company, CBS Money Watch, TechBeacon, and many other sites. From 2000 through 20015, Dave served as founder and President (JUGmaster) of the Philadelphia Area Java Users’ Group, which was twice named by Sun Microsystems as a Top JUG worldwide. Dave grew the group to over 1,200 members during his tenure.
Dave lives with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs on Long Island, New York. He graduated from University of Delaware with a BA in Economics.
